Velvet Rodeo, a dynamic country music duo comprising Leah and Bryan, effortlessly blend the sounds of contemporary and classic country, delivering harmonies as smooth as Carolina Honey. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists like the Civil Wars, Lady A, and Little Big Town, Velvet Rodeo brings a fresh, modern western twist to the country music scene.
 

Musical Journey: BUY TICKETS
Leah grew up in Swansboro, a quaint little town in the the south Outerbanks of NC. Even as a young girl, she always had an incredible passion for singing and writing songs. At the age of 19, she was leading the worship service and could play most every instrument on stage. She also started performing at venues in her hometown and on the east coast.

Bryan, originally from Hickory, NC, started singing in Southern Gospel quartets at the age of 18, which instilled in him a profound appreciation for vocal harmonies. They also share a passion for musical theater, where Leah & Bryan initially met during a musical production of Oklahoma!
 

North Carolina Roots: BUY TICKETS
Velvet Rodeo's story begins in the heart of North Carolina, where the duo joined forces approximately four years ago. Their shared passion for music, coupled with Leah's captivating vocals and Bryan's love for harmonies, laid the foundation for what would become Velvet Rodeo.
 

The Nashville Move: BUY TICKETS
In 2022, Velvet Rodeo took a leap of faith and made the pivotal move to Nashville, Tennessee. Immersing themselves in the vibrant creative community of Music City, they embraced the city's culture, donned their boots, and made an indelible mark. They secured multiple coveted Broadway residencies, including Nudie's and Second Fiddle, while gracing the stages of renowned venues like The Stage and Legends.
 

Collaborations and Performances:
Velvet Rodeo's journey in Nashville has been marked by exciting collaborations and impressive performances. They've engaged in co-writing sessions with notable songwriters like Lance Carpenter (known for his work with Kelsea Ballerini and Curtis Grimes), Jon Mullins, and Matt Wynn. Sharing stages with artists like Jelly Roll, Trailer Choir, Drew Baldridge, Whiskey Wolves of the West, and more, Velvet Rodeo continues to make waves in the country music scene.
